A name, location, or other term entered into a search box is sent to the third-party company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query under its own privacy terms. Ottawa County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the message and the contact details needed to answer it. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure or it is necessary to respond to a valid legal demand.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Like most websites, this site receives routine technical information when a page loads. That data supports delivery, security, troubleshooting, and measurement. It may include:

- correct inaccurate submitted information;
- delete personal data that no longer must be kept; or
- opt out of certain processing where that right applies.
A request may require enough information to verify the requester and locate the relevant record. This policy does not control records held by the sheriff, ODOC, a court, VINE, or another linked office. Requests about those records must go to that custodian under Oklahoma law, including the Oklahoma Open Records Act where applicable.
