Get in Touch

A release question should go to the office that created the record. Ottawa County jail staff handle local custody and discharge routing, the Court Clerk supplies certified court orders, and ODOC handles state custody or supervision records. Federal and immigration cases use separate agencies. The contacts below keep those roles distinct.

This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the responsible public office directly.

Choose the Right Record Path

Start with the event or document you need, then use its official channel:

  • For a released person or county discharge record, the home page explains the full Ottawa County search and request path.
  • For community supervision, use the post-release supervision resource and the Miami ODOC office.
  • For the latest booking window, read the 24-Hour Releases explanation before treating a booking report as a release list.
  • For a possible date or alert, compare the release date lookup with the VINE inmate check.
  • For a specific custodian, use the facility pages in the footer.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, begin with the ODOC offender search; federal or immigration matters use BOP, ICE, or the federal court route.

Ottawa County Jail Records

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office handles current county custody, jail release or transfer verification, booking photos, and routing to its Records Division. Dispatch is available around the clock. The Records Division's published in-person hours are narrower, and its online request form quotes any applicable fee before payment. The sheriff contact page provides the agency routing, and the county government sheriff page independently confirms the jail operator.

Court and Supervision Contacts

A court order can explain the legal reason for release, while ODOC records distinguish state incarceration from parole, probation, or discharge. Ask each office only for the record or routing information within its role.

State and Federal Help

Oklahoma VINE accepts custody searches and notification registration at 877-654-8463, twenty-four hours a day. ODOC Sentence Administration lists 405-425-2691 for closed-record guidance, while registry and discharge routing use 405-425-7601, osor@doc.ok.gov, and osordischarges@doc.ok.gov. These contacts are not substitutes for the correct authorization when a record is confidential.

For ICE detention-status help, the Detention Reporting and Information Line is 1-888-351-4024. BOP's locator handles many sentenced federal records. A person held for U.S. Marshals proceedings may require the federal docket or the responsible district office instead.
